The Concept
The Nike Partner Club 2025 event was designed to deliver a premium, once-in-a-lifetime football experience for grassroots girls’ teams across the UK. Hosted at St George’s Park, the activation brought together over 400 young athletes across two days, combining high-energy on-pitch competition, elite coaching and immersive brand-led experiences. In partnership with key stakeholders including the Nike Ekin team and The Powerhouse Project, the event aimed to inspire the next generation of female footballers while showcasing Nike Football innovation in a meaningful and accessible way.
Tournament
A structured 7-a-side tournament formed the core of the experience, with each team playing multiple fixtures across the day in a competitive but supportive environment. Matches followed a traditional format with live leaderboard tracking, creating a clear sense of progression and achievement while maintaining energy and engagement throughout.
EKIN EXPERIENCE
Ekin-led sessions brought Nike Football innovation to life through hands-on, interactive storytelling. Focusing on key product pillars including boots, bras and balls, the experience translated technical performance features into simple, engaging learnings, making innovation tangible and easy to understand for all participants.
Powerhouse Skill Zone
Led by The Powerhouse Project, with founders Mollie and Rosie Kmita present across the day, this zone focused on confidence, creativity and skill development. Participants took part in high-energy drills and challenges while trialling the latest Nike football boots, combining product interaction with performance-based learning in an empowering and supportive environment.
Coaching & Mentoring
FA-led coaching sessions provided athletes with access to elite-level training, replicating the structure and intensity of national team environments. These sessions were designed to build confidence, develop technical ability and give participants insight into professional football pathways, supported by strong female role model presence throughout.
Nike By you
A dedicated customisation space allowed participants to personalise product with exclusive graphics and patches, creating a physical takeaway while reinforcing self-expression within football culture.
Activation outcome
Overall, the activation brought together football, product innovation and education into a cohesive experience, building confidence, connection and inspiration among the next generation of female athletes.
